Okay, that's it! I'm done guessing. No more 'figuring out' why my weight is fluctuating up and down. From this point forward, I'll only be posting my post fast weights. Next fast is Sunday for anyone interested in piling on. I'm doing a complete Sat evening to Monday morning fast on that day, and I'm throwing in a mini fast, evening to evening meal the next day once per week when I feel like it.

190.6 lb Lost so far: 9.4 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

That photo is actually from last year. We've only got about a foot. It's warmed right up though, it's up to -7.

Hmmnn. I think I may join you on that Sat eve to Mon morning fast. I like fasts. Change that. I like the results of a fast.

Fasts seem to work well for you. I haven't done any full day fasts yet, it's always a possible option to explore. Not THIS Sunday though, my team is in the playoffs and I will enjoy a couple beers as I watch the game with some healthy things to nibble on! Nice job on the loss.

Hey, Jim. Check out Eat Stop Eat. The guy who wrote it used to be an R&D man for supplements. He just cut through all the garbage and made it make sense. Some simple aha's in there. @Mom. Glad you liked the song.

Bruce thanks....I will check it out. I do believe there are benefits to periods of fasting. I've got a book at home I read, can't remember the name of it or what the eating plan is called right now. Maybe it's alternate day diet or something like that? It talked about the "skinny gene" we all have and how periods of fasting and significant calorie restriction activates it in our bodies.

Thanks, Snow. Jim. Skinny jean. I think that's what Snezica wears. Fasting increases the body's igh amounts which tends to increase lean mass. Probably the same thing.

Fasting is the BEST way to lose fat and be healthy! I also fast every day and I love it!

I just stay with my plan and figure it will work eventually. It is the plateaus that drive me crazy. I will stay there for ages it seems but as long as my clothes show I am losing I am OK. Once you find d a plan that works just go with it.

I only post an average over a week. Gave up on those fluctuations. Mine still jumps 2 pound up and down but still averages about the same. I son't worry about the ounces, my scale doesn't even measure them. LOL
