Feeling good about the progress, still trying to focus on week by week. Intend to be under 200 by end of October which will involve some extra work at this rate. Below is a picture of something beautiful I saw during my vacation. Cheers everyone!

218.8 lb Lost so far: 31.2 lb.    Still to go: 63.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think goal setting is very powerful. as long as it is a reasonable expectation. Good luck!

Ah, but what is a goal? By my lexicon a goal is something that, once attained, is unmistakably remarkable. I dunno -- in jobs and school and everywhere else all this talk about attainable goals seems like a weakening of the purity surrounding goal setting. To me, a condition reasonable to attain without any remarkable effort is more of an objective or a requirement. So, while I recognize the risks of setting a goal to lose 18 lbs in 5 weeks, I'm still going for it. The basic requirement, however, is to lose 10 lbs which I'm confident is very attainable. Either way, I'm a big girl (literally! lol) and if I miss it I won't get all "boo hoo" or anything :)
