I went through a phase where the scale didn't show much change, but my clothes did... I totally agree, sometimes the scale can't show when your body is reflecting changes you've made... but it usually keeps moving and I'm glad to hear it's moving for you again too!

I think sometimes the body just gets stubborn about losing the weight, and finally it gives in. Happy birthday to your wife and many happy returns.

Thanks all. Gail was very happy at her presents. She put on a pair of earrings at once. I seem to be getting better at picking the right jewelry.

Ah, your wife and I have the same birthday! Happy September birthday to Gail. I celebrated mine in high fashion. My 12 year old daughter made me a fantastic birthday cake, which I enjoyed eating very much. It was a day worth going over my calorie limit. Back on track tomorrow! Glad your scale is catching up and showing your weight loss. There is no stopping you now!

And wow, you've lost over 150 lb. That is incredible. That's a whole person. Wow, have you taken it in yet? I know you are wearing smaller clothes and you know you weigh less but has it really sank in that you have lost 150 lb. OMG - that is truly, truly inspirational/amazing/ stupendous - I could go on but I will spare you. Congrats on an absolutely fabulous job.

I've dropped a lot of weight, true. I'm thinking of hiring a private detective to find the missing person.

Good Morning! I definitely need to borrow some of your dicipline. This moving around from place to place is havoc on my "diet" So many different things to try. I am afraid to even stand on a scale and that will be easy because we don't have one here yet. Hope it won't be too much of a shock when I get home. You have done so awesome. I am so happy for you. Hope you are taking some time to reflect and enjoy it.

Morning! Thanks for your comments on my journal, I really do appreciate when people read and comment, lets me know I'm not 'alone', which is why I love to drop by other peeps journals too. I luv this site, there are so many of us on similar journeys. I did smile at your comment about spending so much money on clothes. I know a lot of women buy clothes in thrift shops when they are on their way down in weight. I haven't done that yet, I guess I'm a snob, I just can't wear someone else's clothes, unless I knew them personally. I have got by with just a few trousers and lots of tops but I think you are a 'professional' person so need lots more clothes. At least when you pass your clothes on down the line, someone else will benefit from your good taste. Have a great day.
