Northern, how often do you weigh yourself? I'm wondering if I should weigh every day and adjust my protein and fat intake accordingly or just weigh once a week.

I have been told its ok to weigh yourself everyday try to do it at the same time wearing approximately the same amount of clothing so that you can get more consistent measurements but don't change your diet because of what the scale says if you start to develop muscle it weighs More than fat I weigh myself daily and when I'm at a plateau I just get more serious and maybe try to increase the amount of exercise don't change your diet because of what the scale says on a given day

I weigh every day as a matter of ritual. Have the shower - weigh. It's not necessary, but for me it keeps me conscious of what I'm trying to do. I hit a low weight once a week. If I miss that day by weighing weekly, it could become discouraging. I opt not to miss that day by weighing daily. I never adjust anything but calories, but generally I'm low carb. I don't adjust calories daily by design based on the scale weight.

@Blkbear Thank you for "weighin' in" on this question, your help is appreciated.

@Northern Thanks, Northern, I have been weighing every mornin' and then adjusting the protein and fat on my IIFYM accordingly. Sounds like you and Blkbear are agreed that that is not necessary.

Sounds like weighing everyday is a good practice, so I'll continue to weigh every morning.
