Hello, everyone. I'm sorry to have gone missing for so long. Dealing with the death of my partner's mom has been very emotionally and physically draining. We go to her house every weekend to pack up things to donate to charity, and clean out old food, etc. We've brought home some of her kitchen items, so I'm cooking from Evelyn's kitchen, in a way.

Trying to fit in my physical therapy exercises and returning to Zumba & Pilates (and all the stretching and rolling I need to do), as well as shopping for and preparing healthy food, has taken all that I have left.

I'm still rebuilding after my pain-in-the butt, lol. I had to restrict my movements for long enough for the badly strained piriformis to heal, then start specific exercises to slowly rebuild the muscle fibers in the right direction, and now have been working back to being able to do Zumba 3-4 times a week, and Pilates once a week.

I should do my physical therapy exercises daily, but I don't always make the time, though I'm usually the most compliant of patients. My physical therapist has been in Australia for almost a month, and I finally see her next week. I should work really hard until then so I don't look like a total slouch, hahaha. I'm always honest, so that won't work.

I made a delicious cranberry orange smoothie for breakfast; I love this time of year! I've made pumpkin spice latte smoothies, apple gingerbread smoothies, gingerbread latte smoothies, apple ginger, etc. I bought the pack of 3 large cans of Libby's pumpkin puree from Costco, and have already used them all. Pumpkin cookies, muffins, energy bites; all whole grain and healthy.

I liked my cranberry orange smoothie so much that I may just go on a cranberry baking and smoothie binge next. :)

I love watching the leaves as they change colors, brighten the cloudy days, dance in the wind, and tumble down singly or in flurries.

Hi! I just happened to be online when you posted. Welcome back. Dealing with the disposal of someone's stuff is never easy, even worse when there's emotional attachment to the person or person's stuff. You sound well though and that's a bonus. Hope your therapist finds things in good order even if you haven't been 100% compliant. You've had a lot to do :)

Aww - sorry about Evelyn, I recall she was ill. I hope you are you partner can adjust. Glad you are back on track with your Zumba...I know you love it!
