Hi everyone, Finally I can say I'm back - I had a problem with my last computer. My BIL visited today and fixed BOTH computers, one he'd taken up to his place where he and my twin sister live. I have a working computer AND a back-up if this one ever crashes, which is unlikely, the one I got for a few hours working a few weeks ago wasn't working properly anyway, and he fixed it in a few minutes. What a little knowledge will do! I think lots of people ditch computers that can be fixed in fifteen minutes simply because they and no one they know can fix them. I should have asked him to fix the old one months ago. But there's a reason for everything. Anyway, the diet is going OK, but I'm going to eat brown rice regularly. My niece gave birth last week to her fifth, a girl she named Lillian, which is not a common name these days. I have been very busy writing and am going to send out my work in the coming months. I'm stopping my gym membership because of my arthritis. I try to bike when I can, today the weather is unusually warm, 60* but it is supposed to get colder over the weekend - we haven't had any snow yet. I'm glad to FINALLY be back on and will eventually re-connect to writing to my buddies and others. My presence on here was important to me, and will help me lose the next 13 pounds to go... GlennM :)
