Hi everyone, it's Glenn, I'm back - I have a computer from a neighbor's housekeeper that I got inexpensively. My BIL will fix my old computer too once he gets to it. Anyway, I've been off of Atkins a while now, so I've been gaining. So I'm starting again. I'm going to ease back into it - and maybe 198 is a good goal weight. My last weigh-in was over 7 weeks ago so I gained, yet I'm still thin relatively speaking. I went to the doctor's office and they did my height and I am 6'2" now, I was just under 6'3" when I entered the Air Force in 1981, so I'm not overweight right now by any stretch of the imagination. I haven't been on the Internet regularly since April 6. It will be good to be back on, and now that I will have the support I think that I will be able to lose the weight fairly easily. I have no plans for Thanksgiving, so I don't expect a big weight gain then as I at least right now will be at home by myself. My writing is going well, and now that I have a running computer, in the next few months I will try to send my letters out to agents. Glenn :)

Hi Glenn - nice to see you back on line again. Glad to hear your writing is going well. You sound as though you have been keeping yourself busy. How's the girlfriend situation? I'm sure you'll be back to 198 soon.

Hi flaxseed, the writing is going well. I did five short stories in the past few months and two of the historical fiction books are ready to be submitted to literary agents. The western needs an overhaul, it is historically inaccurate in parts and is a long book too. Also another book is being written that started out as a short story, I will finish the first draft of that before I fix the western. I have had a lot of dreams and they have come into use for the short stories, I write down immediately what happened and it makes for a story. Anyway, NO girlfriend yet, and I am lonely too. Now that I'm on the computer I can get on line and go to different sites. Some of my neighbors have seen my apartment and like it, it is all filled with bookcases and books and CD racks. Yes, I have been busy, and I have a great therapist now and he is challenging me to be a better person and focus on my strengths and not my weaknesses. Back to the diet, I can do it because I have a regimen type mindset so I think it will be fairly easy. I also bought some barbells for lifting at home for when I can't get to the gym, as it is a hassle getting there in the cold weather even though it isn't far away... :)
