So heres my thought( and I know its easier said than done). Thinking that you are either on or off didnt do diddly for me. It wasn't until I accepted that it wasn't a diet but rather how I needed to eat the rest of my life that it got easier by far. If you have to stop eating what you are eating 'on plan' frequently because life gets in the way maybe it needs to be tweaked? That said you have been doing awesome, I just hate seeing you beat your self up about slips. A bit of something every now and again is no big deal. If its more than that then I think you are setting your self up for failure down the road. What happens when you finally reach your goal and go 'off plan'?

Yeah I have had to take the idea that this is not just a plan for today but a plan for life.

Sometimes we get detoured on the plan, happens to me a lot. Just steer back on path and don't look back, all will be ok. I see what I'm doing as a life long change but still am tempted in many situations, making adjustments along the way to make up for times of deviation is part of my plan. Not a perfect way of doing things but I'm far from perfect so it works for me. My solution for these times is cut calories back a couple days, drink lots of water, and just move forward. You can have the 4 lbs off in no time and be back on your way.

It's definitely a life plan. One I think we need to remind ourselves often,

Thanks to ALL of you for your ONGOING support...I never want to "take for granted" the time (and effort) it takes to give encouragment, support, and your wisdome. I totally agree with ALL of you...Nicholaix, you asked the question everone needs to be able to answer about their WOE (Way of Eating)...For me, personally, Yes this is a lifetime commitment....apparently when I eventually reach my goal....then, any time I go "off plan" for more than a little bit or for more than one day, then I will gain weight...but, bottom line...Yes this must be a life time commitment...a lifetime journey to much healthier eating with only an occasional "indulgence"....God bless you all as you seek to meet YOUR goals...And again...thanks so verry much for YOUR valuable support...I am blessed with a GREAT team of Buddies!!!!!!!!!! Y'all have a blessed weekend!!!!!!!!

Sometimes we have setbacks bur we can try a bit harder next time and get back on our plan and then we can see good results. I have had a setback recently but I am ready tomorrow to try to improve.
