Yesterday Frank Reported 182.8
Today Frank Reported 181.4

Yesterday I expended 3009 calories
Yesterday I consumed 1712 calories

Snow is falling, a little on the ground and white "frosting" on the trees ... winter may be arriving!!

I had a very hungry day yesterday. Today I am hoping to do some housework, on this last day of vacation. Tomorrow I go back to work ... but for a very short week, only two days!!! Nice way to get back into the swing of things I think!!

Looks like I have 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I wonder if I can stay focused that long. I placed my order for my fresh turkey the other day. Need to start on my grocery list of what I need to buy for the feast and figure out who might be coming for dinner.

I'm still knee deep in Kleenex but I do think the cold is SLOWLY fading ... it is a definitely a stubborn one. So ... time to kick myself into gear ... another cup of coffee, some breakfast, and an hour or so on my elliptical. Feels good to have so much progress on the vacation fluctuation in such a short period of time.

Five things I am grateful for today ...

1. Hubby's more positive outlook on life and his diagnosis
2. A very relaxing vacation ... time off from work to recharge
3. White "frosting" on green trees
4. Sharp knives
5. My family

SNOW.....SNOW????? WOW I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get some snow. We probably wont see any this winter, heck I am even wondering if we are even going to have a Winter here this year. The warm weather is getting so old, I love Winter and it is kind of depressing for it to be almost Thanksgiving and still having to wear shorts. UUGGGGHHHH I know all you who hate the COLD WINTER are thinking I am one crazy girl. I keep telling my man that I want to move somewhere it actually snows in the winter. It did snow here a couple times last winter and it made me sooooo happy. I just hope we get some again this winter, its rare for it to snow at the beach, but a girl can always HOPE : ) Have a great day, you are doing amazing in your journey!

Wintergirl ... I don't think you are crazy at all!!! I love the change of seasons. Having grown up a Southern California Girl, where there really isn't any season change, I really enjoy the changes here and really do love the snow. And, I find it is easier to get warmer than it is to get cooler ... and while I enjoy warm weather for a while (MEXICO) I do not enjoy living in it day after day after day (need air conditioning to survive!!).

Is your nose chapped from all the Kleenex? (I hate that!) I can't wait until I can get back on my elliptical and treadmill. I'm still recovering from my knee injury (which might be a recurring thing). I'm envious that you can get a whole hour in!

Yes ... the nose is quite sore!! The nice thing about having time at home means I have more time to spend on the elliptical!! I have this weird thing ... I like to burn 1000 calories ... takes me an hour and 14 minutes right now ... time I do not have when I work. Take care of that knee Twilight ... you'll figure out how to work out and NOT injure it again!!

Wow...burning 1000 calories! That really is awesome. You're really dedicated to your elliptical workout. It's not weird; it's inspirational!

Yay, back on the blue line again! Glad your cold is on the way out. I love the change in the seasons too. No snow here yet, but we've had some great frosts first thing in the mornings. Today was misty and damp for most of today with the mist dropping off the trees. Keep up the good work.

I had a hungry day yesterday too. I think it was the dark weather. And I have a cold too! This morning all I could think about was crawling back in bed. Mm. Turkey. I have been making Thanksgiving for the past few years for my fam but this year we're doing a potluck thing at my sister's. I will miss the turkey I usually order from someone at the farmer's market. But I am making the stuffing. And I'm thinking I'll make my pie crusts this weekend. Great job getting right back on track!
