Good morning, buddies!

Ended up developing a migraine yesterday that did an excellent job of keeping me away from the kettle bells. It finally broke around 7pm, and my daughter and I went to the local rec center to get a walk in around the indoor track. It rained all day yesterday! (so sick of the constant rain) Still managed a "post- binge, holiday weekend, and vacation" loss. Might be water, who cares. A loss is a loss, and I'll take it!

Trying to set myself up for success this weekend. I am planning on taking lunch with me for clinicals. No more sneaking in a slice of pizza or a pudding dessert. Besides, the cafeteria food (although delicious) is pretty pricey and I'm on a budget. I will admit that the biggest downfall of packing a lunch is that everyone else is going to be buying. I can still go eat with them in the cafeteria, but it will be a little awkward until I get used to it. Maybe I'll start a trend... I doubt it lol.

My goal today is to also plan out some dinners so that way when I come home exhausted or stressed my husband doesn't end up just driving me somewhere to pick up a fatty high-calorie dinner that I "deserve". My mom will be keeping the kiddos tonight as my husband and I both have to be up and out the door before 6am tomorrow. Maybe after we drop the kiddos off we can run to the store to pick a few things. Saves me from having to take the kids shopping today lol.

Sunday is our four year wedding anniversary. It doesn't look like we will be going out to celebrate at all, but I'm hoping maybe I can come up with a little something to make the day special after I get home. I don't know how to celebrate without food, a special cake or a special dinner. Isn't that strange. Hmmm, I will have to ponder on that.

Nice loss, especially considering the holiday and vacation. And congrats on your anniversary. I also think of food when I think of celebrations. As Glen said maybe more quality than quantity but that's easy for me to say it when I'm not celebrating! There are other ways than food...give me a minute....thinking.... :)

Good loss! Happy Anniversary - celebrate with a movie? Or exercising together, or YOU pick a restaurant where you can manage the menu.

Oh yeah - pack your lunch anyway - who cares what others think? THEY probably should be eating healthy, too, if they are in nursing. YOU can set the example.
