Race day today 10K
117.0 lb Lost so far: 9.0 lb.    Still to go: 4.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

thanks to whoever is up this early for the support......am gonna go walk a 10K at 7...walk run...mostly walk....pray for me..Dianne is an old girl ..got my lucky ratty racing shirt on...should be ok...:)..shirt is truly a rag...husband will not be seen with me in it...its hot here in Florida today..

Thanks honey..one side of the street has some shade.its right a along the intercoastal...we call it the Halifax River here in Port Orange...suburb of Daytona Beach......link to race is http://www.remarkableriverrun.com/ ..yesterday it was like 79 at 4:30 so today is slightly better...yesterday was really miserable....my goal is to finish outside the EVAC...:) I got this...I think....been training...:) thank you again...

For anyone struggling with weight the best thing I ever did besides becoming a fat free vegan was to start doing races..started like 15 years ago when I was 52...am 67 now...I am a walker...I have walked 3 half marathons. and tons of shorter races...done 4 this year already....we are a fast growing group...walkers that is..great for depression or anxiety..I have been sober and clean off all mood and mind altering stuff for almost 30 years...but I recommend exercise as the other critical component for feeling good..I do drink a s***load of coffee...that is only thing I use that is CNS...am a seriously Type A chick...diet and exercise are the answers...my diet is great for joint issues ...CAD..BP..all that stuff..I was swimming in a really bad gene pool..daddy was serious alcoholic, smoker and died at 63..was not going to go down that path..plus he was a miserable bastard in his personal relationships..abandoned kids, Mr. Irresponsible...did not wanna be like daddy fo sho.
