Last week was my husband's birthday. I took him out for lunch one day, my mom, daughter and I took him out for lunch the next day. We had birthday cake (peanut butter cake with peanut butter frosting), ice cream, and all kinds of goodies. We were also celebrating the fact that he quit smoking a year ago. Yesterday we took my mom on a day trip to get some shopping done. We ate out for lunch, went to Sam's and had all kinds of samples and before we came home we went to my favorite place...Yogurt Me! I had so much frozen yogurt and not to mention all those scrumptious toppings. Well to make a long story short, I maintained weight. Which is what I have been trying to do ever since I reach my goal weight. Color me surprised!
144.8 lb Lost so far: 135.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

After all of that, you did a good job to not gain! I hope when I reach my goal I can know how to modify my portions and know when to quit! Good job!

I've learned a lot over the past year. And now I'm more comfortable going outside my healthy eating because I know how to balance it.

Good for you. You have given the rest of us a big boost in realizing that there is a life hereafter in terms of losing the weight and being able to maintain.

Lettygaylor you are correct-Portion Control is the Key. I learned that years ago when I went to Weight Watchers. With that said I have to re learn that skill!! Have a great Day!!
