A friend at work recommended Herbalife so I thought I would give it a try. I'm on a Vanilla flavoured shake as a meal substitute. It's a bit sweet for my taste but otherwise quite tasty and filling. I love keeping in contact with like minded Fatsecret members. I do value your support and updates. Hope all is good with you. Kindest regards. Jim

Jim - I am 48 and have tried diets but they do not work, but since my slim friends who have lost tons of weignt from changing their lifestyle of eating to a Paleo diet I am too losing weight slowly and everyday I see my weight coming down and I am feeling more alert and healthy. Secret receipe for losing weight is "NOT EATING / DRINKING SUGAR" "NOT EATING PROCESSED FOODS" " That means you have to make your own Tomato Ketchup, Baked Beans, Mayonaise etc - But you get to eat 25% of your plate with real grass fed meat or wild fish along with Vegetables or Salad to your hearts content. http://paleoleap.com/total-beginners-guide-paleo-fat/ Good luck and I wish you the best - Oriana

going Paleo/primal certainly has turned my life around too @NOO6767.i still eat dairy but am toying with the idea of giving that up too or trying raw dairy. i do love my double cream. i also need to get to grips with making my own Mayonaise i believe it is easy

@drullae I used to drinks loads of milk and eat copious amount of Heinz Mayonaise, but since giving up dairy especially milk I and my husband are really feeling the benefits. My favourite mayo is 2 egg yolks 1 tblsp dijon mustard 1/2 fresh lemon juice blitzed with 1 cup of olive oil or half beef dripping and half olive oil season and dollop on sweet potato fries

Oh Jim - Gluten free is Paleo by using cauliflower florets blitzed up and seasoned replace all rice and tastes just as good if not better - I just made a Seafood Paella with Cauliflower rice and it was gorgeous - receipe on againstallgrain.com

Hi, I am not to families with Paleo but I do try and eat non manufactured food except for the occasional crab stick. Since joining Fat Secret I have lost around 40lb. Since commencing eating sensibly (I try to avoid the word Diet) over 2 1/2 years ago I have got rid of over 9 stone. No bread or alcohol and minimal potatoes. I eat plenty of veg and fish plus other sea food. I'm not sure if it's good for me but I do feel one million percent better. I am going to try your cauliflower rice and I will let you know the outcome. Thanks to you all for contributing. Fatsecret is a great way of keeping in touch and helps with controlling food intake. Best wishes. Jim

Well done with the weight loss, brilliant - I keep telling people it is the viceral fat around your vital organs that people cannot see (even thin people )and those are the dangerous fats and they come from Sugar and Processed foods - I suppose a little of something is only bad if you do it too regularly
