Today's weigh in 178.2
Yesterday ...
Calories Consumed - 1091
Calories Expended - 3049

Well ... what do you know ... I have seen 170-something, again. I guess, in a strange sort of way, getting a migraine yesterday afternoon helped. I was in bed instead of up and eating!! LOL!!! See, there really is an "upside" to almost anything!! Regardless of why I lost again I am happy about it. It would be nice if I could keep it there and maybe a little lower by our Mexico vacation. I know I'll "gain" while I'm gone but I have learned that those vacation spikes fall rather quickly if I simply get right back in my routine.

My five for today ...

1. Bear ... no I do not feel like a bear ... I am not "baring my soul" ... and I hope I'm not a bear to be around ... I saw a bear on my way home from work yesterday!!
2. My migraine is gone ... and I still slept pretty good last night
3. Our insurance will cover the Cyberknife radiation procedure for my hubby ... so off to Seattle we will go for a consultation with the doctor next week.
4. The sound of rain on our metal roof as I laid in bed last night
5. I finally remember to buy windshield wipers for the cars!! Yeah for functioning brain cells!!!

Enjoy your day ... where ever it leads you ...

Good news about the insurance. Everything is sounding much more positive. Congrats on the weighh loss, even if you're not sure how it came about.

Look at you! More pounds gone!!! That's awesome! And don't worry about that vacation gain that you might or might not have. I gained 6 pounds during my 8 days, and it came off rather quickly afterward. You're right, you just have to fall back into your exercise/healthy eating routine and it seems to melt right off. SO.... HAVE FUN!!!

I'm trying to figure out how to smuggle all of you with me ... but I'm not sure I can pull it off ... since luggage can't weigh over 50 lbs!!!

I just took a look at your cookbook....Looks like someone is also madaboutsweetpotatoes! It caught my eye because a couple of nights ago I was desperately searching for a good, low-fat recipe for sweet potato fries! Got any? (Dan Quayle and I want to put a "toe" on the lowly potato! ....Does anyone out there under age 40 know who/what I'm speaking about?)
