I really fell apart on the weekend starting Friday night. I was invited to a Brazilian BBQ restaurant. You could only order all you can eat where they brought was around 10 different BBQ items (beef, chicken, pork, lamb) plus a salad bar. I was trying to do only a little of each item but I felt so full and gross at the end. Everyone else did dessert. I was not even tempted. All day Saturday my stomach still felt full and off. I made myself go to the gym that morning and luckily I didn`t puke. Or maybe that may have helped. Today is Monday and I do feel somewhat better. I don`t know why I did that and why I felt so horrid. BUT I normally don`t eat that much meat. It was rather expensive and someone else was paying... It is no excuse and rather lame but maybe I was trying to enjoy it as much as everyone else seemed to be.

I`m going home to my mother`s this weekend for Thanksgiving. I talked to her yesterday and my sister is doing the meal Sunday with lots of people invited. I will NOT do a repeat of this weekend. My mom has some great walking trails by her house thru the coulees which is challenging due to the hills. I`ll make myself get up early to do an hour walk Sat, Sun and Mon (hopefully it isn`t snowing). I like turkey but I like the side dishes more. But I still must watch quantity since there will be lots of side dishes. Plus all of the other meals served over the weekend. Normally we are not all pigs on a daily basis but there is something about when get together we sure like to eat, drink and play. I`ll try my best to be good.
148.0 lb Lost so far: 29.0 lb.    Still to go: 13.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Did you go to this restaurant on MCleod trail, where they carve the meat at your table? if you're not a big meat eater usually, it sure can be very hard to diggest. it's so uncomfortable, this feeling after overeating...I decided to invite my BF's brothers and mother for Thanksgiving. I feel more in control if the dinner is at my place! we can resist!!
