John10251's Journal, 19 March 2015

Every week I'm seeing the same trend. I'm able to do fairly well during the week but by Monday I gain it back. I have even tried working out harder on the weekends with the same results. Oddly my waist is getting smaller so I won't complain...

The scale lies - your clothes tell a better truth.

I thought you were on maintenance. So little fluctuation. If only....

Are you exercising?

Agree with HCB. Scales lie...there are no tall tales with the tape (measuring). You're exercising and maintaining so let your clothes be the judged.

Weekends are tougher for me as well, I think that's the way for a lot of us. You're doing well. Honestly if I have a .6 gain on Monday I'm calling it success, corned beef, cabbage, and green beer on the menu for Saturday. :)

Changes in your body are good, the scale is not always the best indicator, the weight changes will follow in time.

Totally agree with WFN! This is very true about the scale not being the best indicator!

My weight used to get stuck for weeks on end. However I would see changes in how my clothes fit and would drop a size with no change in pounds. Then all of a sudden that number on the scale would drop a few pounds. It felt to me like my body had to get used to a new size before it would allow those pounds to disappear... definitely not scientific LOL Now on weight maintenance however my keeps changing. Still have a long ways to go on fitness, so not surprising.
