OHhhhhhh LOOK!!! Guess who snuck, sneaked? (huh spell check doesn't like snuck but loves sneaked) (sorry adhd)... sneaked back in to the 70's! ME ME ME ME ME ME!!!!!! Imagine me running around my couch in circles screaming now. o o o o o o <--- circles It must be the whole food plant based switch. That or that traipse through the woods. That's probably what it was. If I had known one walk would get rid of the weight...
O O O O <---- more circles around my living room

Also, I wasn't taking enough iron and stuff. Turns out my Dr had called in a prescription or 5 for a boatload o vitamins. Now I take 500 mg of vitamin C, 600 mg of calcium twice a day, 400 mg of vitamin D twice a day, and 324 mg of iron. Oh and a stool softener so the iron doesn't kill me. Wow.

Be happy everybody, and if you aren't happy, fake it til you make it!

Congratulations on the loss! I used to give blood or plasma regularly and had trouble with low iron. The consultant told me to take a chewable flintstones vitamin every day, which usually worked for me. I quit giving plasma when, by mistake, the "return" went through my vein and made a painful mess of my left arm for a while. I eat a pound or so of spinach a week (I love spinach and Sam's has organic spinach so cheap) and wonder if that would get me above low iron. I guess it's time for me to go do what I should - give blood - and I'll find out.

When I first read this I thought sneaking back in to the [19]70s had to do with running around the couch. As in, you were reviving some exercise trend that involved some type of Jazzercise or Richard Simmons-esque bopping around one's living yelling "Oh! Oh! Oh! Oh!" Quite a vision. Then I read the comments and got it. Your entries are the best. Please keep sharing.

And everyone else, please keep sharing too. I keep logging in here even though I don't much use FS as a tool, because I love the stories. I'm also fascinated by your lives around the country - snow days, commuter lives, small towns, starting Meetups. But FS itself - the platform - kind of sucks. It does not upgrade and it does not sync. I downloaded yet another "update" for my phone, but now it doesn't sync to this. Things are off. And also, heads up for the newbies: FS way overestimates your base calorie needs. And it also will warn you about unhealthy weight if the system perceives you as under. I'm not under. I'm going to the way low end of healthy range, but I'm healthy.
