Paula - Go ahead and spit at those 2 pounds while you can. I don't think they'll be hanging around long.

Glad you had a wonderful vacation and that you have a good attitude about the 'gain' because it won't hang around long once you get back on track. I like your plan too for future vacations and special events. Life is to be lived and food is to be enjoyed. Unfortunately we can't enjoy all of it, all the time, but will enjoy it so much more when done now and again, as a special treat. Its hard to accept that, but its the truth for those of us that gain weight easy. I could so easily be 200 lb again - I feel like it would only take me a month - an exageration I am sure but that's what it feels like - sigh - but I would rather look good and feel good about myself than eat "whatever' (if I keep telling myself that I hope I will eventually believe it !!!!)

Hey all - no worries... I am overjoyed at it only being two pounds! I've turned a corner. A BIG HUGE shift in my thinking! Life is to be lived and enjoyed and should be respected and valued. And while on this journey I have discovered so much about myself, life, love, relationships, etc... that I enjoy - that I didn't know before - that not one solitary thing that I DID indulge in was really worth it. It's just food. I CHOSE to treat myself. And awfully glad I did. But I could have just as easily chosen to skip them and just stay in the swing of things. My point is... It gets so much better, and easier once you get to a healthy weight and like yourself again. THAT is worth keeping. At any price!!! If I didn't feel this way, I would have long since been back over 200! Much Love!!!

only 2 pounds??? You did fantastic, and I am sure now you are home and back into the swing of some kind of normal routine things will fall in place and those 2 pounds will fall off in no time. I love reading how you have made the huge shift in thinking, that is huge personal growth.
