Thanks for the motivational comment. I needed that. It's like I'm in self denial of how I let myself go this far. But it's never to late to start the journey

the more you worry, the harder it gets, change priorities from food and the scale to something else or help someone else and see how fast the weight comes off

To lose weight, you need to create a calorie deficit. So if your daily activity burns 1600kcal for example, your diet should be maintained at 1400kcal. Exercise is very important to burn fat too. If you follow this, I'm sure you can lose weight rather fast. Good luck!

Thank you all for the comments. I think I need to focus on other things. I am sure I will think less of food. I'm keeping myself pretty busy on weekends so I don't have time to sit and think about food. As for calories it's hard for me to eat 1400 k cal a day. I follow the paleo diet and I seem to feel good around 1800-2000.

Scales are all calibrated differently and you can weigh something different on each one. The flooring they are also make a difference. Pick one scale as your "official" scale to accurately gauge your weight loss. Keep it in the same place and weigh the same time, same clothes same everything for the most accuracy. Good luck!

@Suzi161 I agree the first scale was at my gym. The old scales like at a doctors office but not new at all. Hard to tell if it's accurate. Then I gave in and bought a nice digital scale. I'll stick to my new one

The weight doesn't matter if you switched scales. If the scale starts telling you you're making those gains every day, then of course you must destroy the scale. It's a rule.
