My last weigh in for January, first for February. While there was a slight gain, I'm not upset because TOM starts this coming week, so I'm chalking it up to water weight.

On the plus side, for the month of January I've dropped 2.6 pounds. While its not an overly large decrease considering the time frame, I'm just happy to have a net loss, rather than maintaining or even worse, an increase.

Got some exercise in yesterday, but blew my day having hot dogs for lunch followed by drinks and Mexican food with friends. A small victory there, however, is that I only ate half my dinner and boxed up the other half for lunch today.

We were supposed to head out to a friend's Superbowl party today (less for the football, more for the friends), but we are currently under a winter storm warning, with about a foot on the ground and its still coming down. We cancelled, as neither of us is comfortable making the 45 minute trek in my little front wheel drive hatchback. This worked out beautifully as I'm now avoiding all that fatty food/alcohol temptation, and I got some additional exercise in the hour or so it took to clear my driveway the first time (which seems pretty futile now, considering in the time it took me to clear it another three inches had fallen where I started).
