Deb_N's Journal, 28 January 2015

Hello, everyone! I've already reached my goal weight, so I've been learning how to increase my calories so that I don't lose any more weight. It's up and down a little every day, but I take the weighins that I do at home for the past 7 days and average them to get the weight that I log here at FatSecret on Wednesdays. Still working at being healthy. Wishing you well and hoping you are good to yourself! Take care.

130.8 lb Lost so far: 71.2 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.6 lb a week

Deb, you are doing great!!!!I gave up trying to increase calories, it wasn't working, LOL. I simply cannot eat more. I'm assuming my body now needs less at a lower weight. I took Mummydee's advice and log but don't worry much. Weight fluctuations are normal, I log the average. Calories are averaging around 1100 per day. I figure my body will land in a good place, as long as don't keep on a steady downward trend. It's staying pretty steady. No stress, the way I now eat is what feels good. Easy to stay on my plan because it's my plan not manufactured by someone else. As you know I love to cook, love to learn about different cultures through their cuisines. I find it fascinating how healthy many dishes are as long as you do not over eat and stick with whole fords. Just like I'm fascinated by the effect adding artistic quilting transforms a simple quilt or even pieces of fabric layered with batting.

Jeri, I learn so much about different cuisine from your messages here. I study your recipes and thank you for sharing. Thanks, everyone! :)

Hey Deb, as your eating more past your maintenance, you will either A. Gain weight. Or B. Work out more calories. Your such a small frame now, you don't need all that much calories anymore. Unless you wanna get stronger. Like I am weighing at 169. I have been stuck there for months...I am now working 2 hours every day. Just as hard. But I'm now taking 4183 kcal's. Been just adding and adding...I think this will be the 1st time I will be in the 170, haha. My parents think its crazy...But that's how hard I work out I guess.

Deb, many are not set to share let me know you are looking for something. I'll try my best. You cannot edit them once they are shared. I'm forever editing them. I share when members ask....I also am very aware of copyright rules so can share privately but not to everyone depending on the source. Sharing with a friend is not a copyright violation.

Aaron, you are doing good! :) Everyone, I recalculated my armband to maintain my goal weight instead of lose weight, and it said I can eat 1600 calories a day. lol I think I will have to try to hit the weekly calories or monthly calories, in case I have some high calorie restaurant meals.

Learning learning is an ongoing process...I am hoping to learn through some of the posts you give us Deb, I know I am a ways away from my goal weight but with the hard work and just reading what others have achieved helps you realize that it certainly can be done and works wonders on the self esteem...can't say thank you enough...

Jeri, I have an armband from 2010 called bodybugg but it went to BodyMedia and now owned by Jawbone. I wanted to buy a small band for it because the medium is too long for me now, but Jawbone says they don't have any. They just take my money for uploading my data. I have been reading about other trackers in case my old one dies.
