Scale still hates me, but I have faith. Sunday it will say 285, and I can treat myself to some Lancome' body cream. I thank the Beck Diet for Life for that little piece of wisdom.

"Rewarding" myself should be of a noncaloric treat. Something that I'll take great satisfaction in, and not be detrimental to all the work put in up to that point.

So I'm following my sister's example, and since it's my birthday on the 1st, I really want my gift/reward to be special. I've been deprived of this body cream for almost a year now. I will succeed and I will be worthy of my gift.

Treats like that are always good rewards. I've got a Mother of the Bride formal I'm working to look awesome in. The last time I worked hard on this site I managed to lose over 30 pounds. You can do it! And remember don't just go by your scale set a clothing size goal. It makes it easier when that scale seems to get stuck.

Thanks vmeyer85 - yes have size goals set as well. Weight Goals are daily check ins until I get back to my last Weight Watchers weight from 5 years ago before my ass got married to this desk. Then comes the real weight loss goals. Size goals go with monthly check in for items in closet. Did a major clean out last summer, so only clothes in there are realist size GOALs. Can't wait to purge the stuff I'm wearing now for the stuff I haven't been able to wear for the past few years.
