Sold one more thing on c-list yesterday. Nice to get a small wad of cash for crap I don't want. Enjoyed sitting on our shady porch reading a book and sipping a half-glass of red wine, even in this heat. I don't know why I don't enjoy these simple pleasures more often. I'm usually stuck in my office working.

Cooked dinner when Mr Coco got home from his road trip. We enjoyed eating out on our backyard deck -- a caprese salad with grassfed beef hamburgers. I'm amazed at how much better those taste than regular ground beef. Another half-glass of wine with dinner knocked me out. I slept like a baby.

Got up this morning and took Bubs on our walk. It was already very hot and steamy at 8am, but it energized me, so I did a few outside chores, and now I'm having my yogurt breakfast and about to work for some clients. I told Mr Coco last night that we're in a nice phase right now. His mom is doing reasonably well now that she's on some dementia meds. At least it's not getting worse rapidly and she's still able to live in her house. My parents are in good health for their late 70s. Wish our daughter lived closer. We're making enough money to get by. So we can't complain.
