Two days of fasting produces a weight gain. I'd like to hear my doctor explain that. All I hear is "diet and exercise." OK, when eating nothing produces no weight loss, what's next?

Have you considered a thyroid problem? Also, when you deprive your body you create a starvation reaction and it holds on to your body's resources to keep you alive.

skipping meals has been proven to slow metabolism. this triggers your body to trap every calorie it can to "survive" in times of starvation.

Yes I agree. Our metabolism is like an engine - so eating small amounts frequently keeps it charged up and burning fat. It seems backwards but we havr to eat to lose...
