Debbie Cousins's Journal, 11 November 2022

Been using the app, so not making challenge reports; but still making Journal entries, recording my food, and reporting my weight. The app does have one feature that the website doesn't. It will calculate your average daily calories for the week. Since I plan my menu for the whole week, it keeps a running total of where I am calorie-wise, so I don't have to add up all the daily totals and divide by 7.

Things are going well. Able to walk 1/2 mile at a stint now, instead of just doing 1/4 mile at a time. That makes it a lot easier to get in my mile and a half a day. Knee pain level has only been about a 3 for the past week (except when I was doing all the birthday cooking - then it was about a 4). Still, I'm very thankful that it isn't an 8 like it was there for awhile!

Today is pancake day! I'm really looking forward to my pecan pancakes. It will be hard to wait until 11am (when they start taking lunch orders - because my husband is getting the Friday Fish Fry).

Woke up at 4 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. I was going to keep trying but then my husband woke up and got up, so I figured I may as well get up, too. Having a pretty productive morning so far - just doing my normal daily stuff.

Yesterday, I put the dining room table to the side against the wall, so the center in front of the big glass windows is clear to be able to put up my Christmas tree. I might start doing that today. Gotta see if I have some extra strands of lights to put on it before I decorate. It only has 300 lights, which is not nearly enough for me.

OK, hope everyone has a well-disciplined, highly-motivated day!

Pecan pancakes -- yum! I've found the weekly averages to be helpful as well, especially on the measures that concern me the most. I especially like that I can flip back through prior weeks and get a good feel for how I'm doing. Great for you on the walking!

The website has the feature where you can get a PDF of a week at a time, and it includes a calculation of the rdi for a week
