we ate out for hubbys supper last night. on the menu it said squash, so I ordered it. and it came out with stuff mixed with it. I asked what it had in it, and she said, cream cheese and pepper and there was no sugar in it. so I ate it. well the scale went up .4 pounds. I can not figure out what I am doing wrong that I keep going up. I will finially hit a low and then the next day I am up and then keep going up for a few days then it will take me a week to loose back down to my low. it is like I am only losing one pound a month doing it this way.
I cut out the bars and that don't help, I put them back in and I lose.
I also ate ham and bacon at breakfast when we went out, so that has the nitrates in it.

Do what works for you. If the bars help you lose than use them. Many people lose better using the bars and shakes. It's an individual thing. When you eat out, you know there will be tons of sodium in the food, so you can still show a gain even if you are on plan with the foods. Drink extra water today.

I agree w/Suzi. When I read your entry, the first thing I thought of was added sodium. Drink your water, esp. today. And, ultimately, if the bars and/or shakes help you, use them. You need to make this WOE work for YOU.
