Increased my exercise yesterday, over "none," by going to the grocery store and BJ's and walking in the school where my grand daughter goes to bring her lunch yesterday for her birthday. Knees still hurting at a #3-#4 pain level today. Put Diclofenac on at 5:30 this morning, and it didn't touch it. Just took a pain pill.

I was delightfully surprised this morning that my weight was down another 2/10 of a pound. I fully expected it to be UP, after three consecutive days of big losses. I did have a snack-size M&M's (90 calories) yesterday, bringing my calories to 1,650, but it was still in my goal range.

Getting my first Shingles shot today. Thankful that this type of thing is available in this day and time to prevent or lessen illness. Usually, I don't have any reactions to vaccines - not even soreness at the injection site. Maybe I'll be likewise blessed today!

Had to change this week's menu a bit. When my husband found out that Chicken Parmesan in sauce over spaghetti noodles was an option, he chose that over the lasagna. Plus, I got something new at BJ's that I'll work into the menu either this week or next week: General Tso's Chicken, which I will serve over white rice.

OK, got to get a couple things done before heading to the pharmacy for the shot. Hope everyone is off to a great start with your week!

What a bummer for you that your knees continue to hurt. Happy, happy that the weight keeps going down. Plus it takes pressure off your knees.
