Today I gained just a little bit - 200 grams. That's okay. I have lost a good chunk the last couple of days, I don't mind giving a little bit of it back.
Yesterday was an awesome day. We went to see some friends/neighbors in their "kolonihave" (which is a little stamp-sized piece of land with a shed or simple quarters on it, used as a cheap alternative to a summer house for us apartment residers). Both Wife and I really like the place, and the whole area is great.
So we got to talk about maybe one day fining a spot out there, if something affordable comes up. It turns out that there are a few available, but they are all expensive (10,000 dollars and up), except one. The cheap one as a (nice) large shed on it and is 2,000 dollars. We go take a look, and more or less determine that it could reasonably simple be expanded to living quarters for staying the night now and then. We live close by, so it is really just for the long summer nights out there where you just don't feel like a 15 minute walk before bed time.
Anyways, 2,000 is still a little steep at the moment, but we kinda toyed with the idea. On our way back to our friends little spot, we meet the foreman of the homeowner society out there. Turns out that she is desperate to sell it, and she utters - kinda jokingly - that if someone would offer her 750 dollar for she then he would sell. Then I put forward my hand for a shake and says "sold". :)
She looks at me, stunned, like if she is not sure she can sell it THAT low, but then decides to do it.
I'm going to sign papers today. We now have a little piece of heaven in a little piece of land, and room to grow vegetables, hang out, barbecue and just enjoy the summer. Yes, Life IS good!
