Did my best workout yet, 6.8 miles in 2 hours... and gained a half pound. LOL... it will come back off I know, but it makes me laugh that sometimes I do everything wrong and lose weight and sometimes I do everything right and gain weight.
169.5 lb Lost so far: 33.0 lb.    Still to go: 44.5 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Great job on the exercise and yes, our bodies are strange. Google "why the scale lies" for some insight in to water weight fluctuations. It's interesting the things that affect the scale (such as exercise, sodium, etc.).

It probably is water weight. I drank 48 ounces of water in the 2 hours I was on the treadmill.

Building up muscle mass will cause you to gain weight, but you will look better. That is why BMI is a better indication of your health than just how much you weigh.

you do know a gallon of water weights about 7lbs
