mrsmole's Journal, 26 July 2014

New scale and change in meds has caused a minor uptick in my weight. No idea how accurate, but it doesn't matter. I'm not upset. I'll get there when I get there. Obviously I didn't gain 8 pounds in 5 days, so I think the scale is partly to blame for this glitch. Just starting from here and moving forward. What choice do I have? Lol.
208.0 lb Lost so far: 72.0 lb.    Still to go: 59.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Good attitude! Can't let the scale dictate our lives. Have a great weekend!

New scales are obnoxious, but it is the difference in today's weight and the next time you weigh in. That is what counts. You have been doing everything right, so the future looks great!

Nothing to worry about, MM. You're doing everything right and that's what counts. I hope the change in meds is helping.

You are being fairly Zen about this. Very wise. I moved my scale to thoroughly clean my bathroom a couple weeks ago and for almost a week afterwards, I swear I was getting a higher weight and was very annoyed. I finally had to do the shoulder-shrug and just move on. You are working this thing and while it may not be quite as satisfying to do the work and not always have weight loss to show for it, you are in this for the long haul and know that your overall better health and eating habits are their own reward. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Ah. That's what's going on. It doesn't matter much. Once things level out, find their balance, you'll be on your way. An end weight is so arbitrary anyway. I thought it appropriate that your journal be the first I post on. I've missed you, buddy.
