Good morning Joy, we haven't communicated very much to each other but I have kept up with your progress and I have to say you are very determined. Most people I know would have given up a long time ago. I am not an expert, doctor, nutritionist, or know it all. I just know what works with me and I am extremely happy with my results in keeping my blood sugar and weight under control. Like you, I needed to get control of what my body was doing, if I want to live a long life. All the things that you are doing are working, even though you aren't real happy with the results. My weight gain didn't happen over night and it shouldn't go away the same. You have lost a lot of pounds and have for the most part have kept it off. Gaining a few pounds and loosing a few, between weightins , is no big deal. Most of this can be from liquids and food you have consumed. Be patient, keep doing what you are doing, and you will reach your goals. For what its worth... I am very Proud of you for all your efforts and determination. Your strength gives me strength. Have a great 4th of July and be safe!

Thank you so very much! I need all the encouragement I can get :-) I have somewhere between 30 to 50 left to lose (will evaluate when I get there) so it often seems like I'm running a marathon. I need to remember to pace myself, just like in a marathon.

It takes our scales awhile to adapt to our new way of life. Keep it ip and you see the results.
