I celebrate every pound :) how i feel is worth more than anything the scale says.. i admit i expected more for how hard i'm going at this.. but i really don't have that much to lose, and this will continue to keep me accountable to work my hardest. regardless.. my mindset won't be how come i didn't lose more, it will be thank god i am lighter than i was the week before!

Well just b/c i didn't document it, here goes:

One of my very best life long friends is comin to visit me in june.. so we decided instead of some half assed "goal" we would seriously do something to make us push. At the same time, my little sister (one of my bffs) was down on herself for the weight she gained. so i was with all these people including myself who really wanted the motivation.. so we decided to start this challenge.. APril 11th was day one for me (and for erica) and then i'd weigh in at weeks end.. based on that we would determine how much weight everyone will ahve to lose by June 16th, Vanessa's arrival to Tampa. So we are at 14 lbs to lose... not a whole lot..but tougher for me b/c that will put me at my goal. This is a starting point for erica, my friend cel, and for vanessa will continue her awesome weight loss that is over 50 lbs right now.

the awesome thing is this has been super motivating... and that once i hit my goal, i will focus my new goal on body fat percentage rather than weight. i have to stop somewhere. if i lose more, great.. if i don't .. as long as my percentage lowers i'm good.

can't wait to see us all in 2 months!

It is always nice to have people to do this with. I am glad you have a great frame of mind with your weight. I really believe that kind of thinking is when you really start to lose and are able to keep the weight off. I to have come to the same thoughts and have been very happy about my diet/exercise since. Keep it up and I can't wait to see how well you do.

Gotta love a good honest goal and people to help in the ups and downs. Very glad to see you back on it buddy. We can do this....we can do this in the words of Steve Harvey, " Nothing tastes as good as how being in shape feels."

Saw your post on my weigh-in, so glad there is someone who is dealing with the exact same frustrations! RIght now I'm trying to come up with a solid plan for my 3 weeks at work so that I don't get off track. I find that when I give myself decisions to make when I'm hungry i always eat the wrong thing. Good luck with your 14 pound goal, I know you can do it.
