He's an alcoholic. I asked for a 6 month separation so he could get sober but he found a drinking girlfriend within a week.

Ouch! I'm so sorry to hear that. But you DID give him a chance to get clean! Its his loss, so diet and exercise and show him what he lost!!!!

^^that sounds like a beautiful revenge, only one thing, if you have children don't get used to saying stuff like that. the worst would be saying it within their earshot. But otherwise....go get em tiger!

No children together Alex. Strangely though, my daughter wants nothing to do with me and is close to him and his daughter is disgusted with him and still comes to visit me. Go figure.

^^sometimes it works that way. Did for a couple of friends of mine. I've been blessed in that my daughter wants nothing to do with her dad and wants to live with me 24/7, however it came with a lot of lip biting and tongue biting over the years when he repeatedly pissed me off.
