I wasn't sure I wanted to record this number. It seems overly optimistic for me right now.

I don't think I'm actually hitting a plateau, but I've been wrong about things before. All I know is, I have to change either my eating habits or exercise habits to keep the scale on a downward path.

I know, I know...slow and steady is the key, but this seems a bit slow, even for me!

I don't want to eat less. I'm pretty happy where I am, calorie-wise, right now. I'm averaging 1200-1300 a day and that seems right for healthy weight loss. It also feels good for my tummy. I don't feel like I'm deprived of anything and I am not left wanting more.

I guess I just have to push the exercise envelope. Granted, this wasn't one of my better weeks. Holidays and fewer work days, but longer work days, meant I didn't get to do what I wanted, exercise-wise.

However, as Scarlett O'Hara is know for saying, "Tomorrow is another day."

I would vote for the exercise. I have found when I get stuck if I do something new, a new movement or exercise it seems to really help. I am thinking of playing some basketball at the YMCA when I get back from my bike tour. Might be a good fall/winter activity. In addition I have to watch what I call "empty calories" today is was a couple of Oreos. I love them and its in control but they don't do anything to help my fitness engine.
