mrsmole's Journal, 13 June 2014

Okay, finally. Four straight days of vigilantly eating under 1000/day on average got me some serious results. Plus a Midol. My ankles were starting to look like elephant feet, so water was certainly a problem.

Weighed 209.5 at 8PM, woke up at 206. Ta-da!

All time low? I'll take it. Even with the mild water pill, it's still an all-time low. I went back and looked at what I did the last time I did this kind of 1000/day thing in January, and I'm going to do exactly what I did back then - 5 out of 7 days at 1000 and then two days at 1300 so my body doesn't freak out again.

It worked ridiculously well then, and I hope to repeat that this time.

I just learned that every pound lost is a huge struggle, but that struggle makes it that much more a victory.

Tomorrow I have an all day training at Toastmasters and I will be a slave to whatever they offer for lunch. I'm taking my Bolthouse salad dressing with me in the hopes that I can get by okay.

Sara, I always weigh morning and night for my records. It's just something I do. I have had my weight fluctuate as much as 5 lbs. overnight and as little as 1 lb. You just never know. The point I was trying to make was that the water weight that was swelling my ankles was significant as evidenced by the fact that one Midol took it away overnight.
