northernmusician's Journal, 12 June 2014

My guess is that's my week low. Last weeks was 176.4. 1.4 pounds in a week, I'll take it! I'm finding the calorie cycling is optimal for me. I don't mind not eating as much on the two 1800 days, which are bracketed by higher days, or the third lowest day (today... 2200 to get a few extra carbs for tomorrow lifting day) since I know the 2400 calorie days are right around the corner. The calipers put me at 14% today, but I never claim it until I've seen it 3 days in a row.

Have a great day all.

Song for the day (just because): Green Light Girl - Doyle Bramhall II

Thanks, Brad. Being OCD helps. I've got so much data from tracking calories and weight on a spread sheet that it's pretty simple. If you've checked, I'm actually eating occasionally on some days above my 'set' calories for the cycle. In spite of that I'm dropping. I'm thinking that the key at this point is making sure I get those high cal carb and fat days to keep the metabolism high. It's my guess anyway. We'll see if it slows down.

Thanks, Bill. @Rocker. Bramhall is a live music person. Doesn't do much recording. Robert Randolph is the guy you see on the steel guitar. He's incredible too. Same thing. Live music only. I'm not sure he's ever recorded. Interesting having someone playing blues/rock lead on a steel guitar.

I'm such an audio person... rarely notice things like that, but recall seeing him at the right of the band.
