Made it through the weekend and went down a few pounds. I couldn't avoid a last minute barbeque where my immediate family came over. This was my 1st meal of the day 4pm:
1 burger and 1/2 hot dog on the same bun with toppings
1 chicken thigh no bbq sause
6 tbl spoons of macaroni salad
2 beers

earlier in the day I walked 6 miles 8:45 - 10:30 am

To end the day (1 hr after the bbq), I had two shots of vodka in Hawaiian Punch, 1,5 servings of cheese doodles, 2 twizlers and wife screaming at me to cut it out. I listen to my wife and shut my pie hole.

Down 8 lbs in a week and I will push it hard again this week.

Hey Chesgree, just remember that if you don't take in enough calories on a regular basis, your body will go into "famine" mode, slow your metabolism, and try to hang on to everything you do eat. Fasting is not a bad thing, but look at your overall calories for the week. If you are regularly under 1,500 per day as and average for your week, you are likely to slow your metabolism, I guess unless you are 4 ft. tall and weigh 89 lbs. ;-) If you want to have a low calorie day do a Fat Flush from MuscleHack.com. Eat nothing but protein for 24 hours. Of course there will be a little carbs and fat in there, but try to make it as little as possible. Example, the other day I did a Fat Flush and had about 30g of fat along with about 15g of carbs, but about 211g of protein. You have to buy Mark's Total Six Pack Abs program to get the exact formulas, but you see the idea. He has lots of free stuff on his site, including the M.A.N.S. diet and G.L.A.D. diet. Check them out.

Thanks for your concern. I have adequate reserves and I still walk 1 to 2 x per day with no dizzyness. I have done my homework and not confused. I pay attention to my body and stay hydrated (120 oz of H20 daily) I am very focused and my regimine swithches this Friday to a 16:8 and foods will be logged accordingly. I am up from 5 am and don't go to bed until 11 pm. Signs of slow metabolism are low energy or scale not moving. Again, thanks again. Great job by the way on your progress.
