Getting ready for the weekend. Have to find a new route to and from work this weekend, because I live just outside The Village, and Pride is this weekend. They shut down three blocks east/west and another three north/south...and the east/west part is a bike lane that takes me to another bike lane that gets me to work. *sigh* That probably didn't make much sense...but it's hard to explain and I'm still sticky and humid and my brain feels that way too.

On Sunday, Ian promised he would help me go through my closet. I have to sort out my clothes. I am currently in this weird in-between phase where clothes I already own are fitting me either badly or not at all. But clothes in the next size down feel too tight. The girls at work say I look fine. I think I don't know what size I am anymore. But cleaning out my closet will be satisfying. I may gain a new wardrobe without spending too much money. I know there are some smaller dresses in the back...and Goodwill and friends of mine will have their pick of used stuff. And if it's too big, but still worth keeping, I might just have it altered.

Since I gained weight so quickly, I had the opposite problem. I had lots of 4's and 6's and need 12's and 14's. I got rid of nearly my whole wardrobe (saved one pair of jeans and top) and bought some larger sizes at thrift stores since I don't plan on being this size for much longer(hopefully). I basically wear the same two pairs of pants and a pair of capri pants. I did buy some workout clothes at Target. I don't have a job though so it doesn't matter what I wear really right now! Good luck!

New routes can actually be a lot of fun. I find that on a route I do not know the miles go more quickly. Be safe if you are going off path and on road...you should get yourself a really nice cycling jersey with some cool print. They make some really nice ones.
