171.4 lbs

104/68 Blood Pressure
66 Pulse

It looks like the lower calorie intake is doing the trick. I’m two pounds down and seeing more changes in the mirror. I am happy with the progress.

Well, curiosity got the best of me yesterday. I went to CVS and Walgreens trying to find a body fat caliper. I didn’t find one. When I was at Walgreens an older lady employee asked if I needed help finding something. I asked her if they had “body fat calipers?” She looked at me with a blank stare so I proceeded to explain to her body fat calipers were and what they were used for. So she replies, “Well, I’m sorry, we don’t have those here, but you don’t need them anyway, you don’t have any body fat!!”. I told her thank you and proceeded to walk out feeling gratified after the compliment from a random stranger.

Even though I didn’t find the calipers I still satisfied my curiosity, which was to figure out my body fat %. Thanks to the little old Walgreens lady, I now know that I have 0% body fat. LOL :) I will probably order some calipers online so I can get a little closer estimate than the sweet Walgreens lady gave me.

Everyone have a great day and a better weekend!

You're doing great, glad to see the lower cal intake is paying off. Suggestion: Check Amazon.com for a body fat caliper. There are some that get decent reviews that are pretty inexpensive, I had ordered one and it was just delivered yesterday. Haven't used it yet but hopefully will do so in the next few days. Hopefully that in conjunction with a body tape measure will give me an accurate idea of my % body fat. Have a great weekend.

That must have been really nice to hear. Yep, good old Amazon will have them and also Walmart will have them online too. I think you can do ship to store for Walmart to avoid paying for shipping. Just in case it's under $50.

I'm looking at amazon now. And of course I found another thing I had to have while I was there. A body measure tape. It looks so much easier than the fabric tape I have been using. Gonna get that too!

Send her my way, would yo please? @Jmb and BBB When you have the calipers, you can either use their little chart for one location testing which is slightly less accurate, or you can do a simple 3 point. Look up Scooby's body fat calculator on google.

haha Chad! There is alwsys next week! I actually thought I would be a little lower but I guess the massive soreness in my legs are the cause of some fluid retention. At lest I have 0% body fat! LOL Thanks for the comments everyone!

Fishing has been pretty good here lately. The one in my profile pic was caught last weekend on Lake Belton. Big mama'!

Funny - I went to Walgreens looking for medical alert bracelets too ... Cutty was on blood thinner and that was important for EMT to know.. they don't carry them. They have blouses and bras and flip flops and wine, but no medical alert bracelets or fat calipers. Gotta love these drug stores :-)

Hey, at least you can still get beer and smokes at the "drug store". :)

And don't forget the boatloads of caffiene Brent, because technically...

Boatloads of caffeine, pfft... duffer! It's enough caffeine to FLOAT your boat, chad. Or at least your back teeth.
