Well, I am not weighing in!🙃
I always have an excuse, but yesterday my husband was given an elegant private office that’s all windows! It’s beautiful, he’s done well for the company, unfortunately it doesn’t come with a pay increase. 😕
He needs to tell his boss he needs a raise – he needs to say there are three companies after me right now, and if the boss asks which ones he’ll have to answer, gas, electric, and water.😆 Not too funny, as our water bill for the year comes up this month and it’s $1,500, still pondering where that’s coming from.🤨
Well, I guess a positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort. 😁
I’m off to work and I will track today!!!
I need to start getting serious!! I always start out wonderfully and end up where something goes wrong!!! Yesterday I had two cupcakes and I don’t even care for cupcakes !!!🧁🧁☹️
I work in my own office as well, but it’s exactly like a closet, with just walls, dust, and file cabinets.
Sure would be nice to have windows. What a minute, I do have windows - Microsoft!😆

I hope you can at least brighten your dungeon with decent art on the walls. Windows are definitely nice, except when your office is a fish bowl affording you no privacy.

At least you have the house with the bills. I don’t have those bills but also do not have the house either, so there is that. I don’t wanna be a downer, I chose to give up my house and those bills in order to move away from people. I have a fixer upper camper and am looking for land to make a small farm out of. Say a prayer for me and I will say two for your water bill, cause $1500 yikes

I did exactly the same thing about 3 years ago. It was wonderful not having all those bills, insurance and property taxes along with the mortgage. I lived for a little over 3 years in a 35' camper. It is just me but after awhile I got to where I was missing the room. However, I would not go back.

Wow, Shrewd do you have a leak? We had one once and the water company didn't charge us the extra. That's great about your husband's office! Hopefully he can convince his boss to give him a raise! Hope you have a successful day staying in your calories today! Practice makes perfect!

How about being happy for your husband that he is acknowledged at his office, and is in line for a promotion when the timing is best for the company??? Complaining is not creative, helpful, pleasant to be around, and is often self centered,

If you have old style toilets and shower heads, that adds up. Also, sewer rates are usually 3 times higher than water supply rates. When I hooked up to sewer my water bill tripled even though half the people had moved out. Living alone with low-flow toilets and shower heads my bill is $300 a year. When I had a friend living with me, he added $300 in 6 months. Water aint cheap! PS Erasers are replaceable!

there's a flow regulator at the curb where your water meter is. that can go bad or it could be a leak. easiest quick check is to turn off your water and see if the meter is still running. if it is, you have a leak, if it's not, it could be the meter or the regulator, none of which is fun

Nice that hubby got a nice office but a raise would've been nice too. I know what you mean about eating to much stuff! I was like that yesterday! Tomorrow I'm s a new day and start fresh! Literally, fresh foods only! You got this!💜💜👍

Erika, really I don't deserve windows anyway. I am so so busy I would never look out of them unless a bird crashed into it. They would be wasted on me.😁🙃🌺

Jeannie, so funny you said that. My boss owns many expensive works of art that are hanging in the office. They are down right ungly!!!! One is a huge black picture with a yellow swoop in the middle = ART! The others are golf pictures, that in my eyes are ugly too, they are numbered and expensive, I don't know why though. Some original paintings I wouldn't pay a dollar for. I have been here a long time, I wish he would change them out. Too busy to really look at them anyway, thank goodness, UGLY!!😁

Thank you Chance, I am awfully proud of my hubby. I just know he likes people and being segregated may be a bummer for him, but he seemed very happy about it. Oh Chance, I wish I would get on that damn diet train, it keeps leaving the station without me. With your encouragement I will try to do my best!!!👍💪

SantaJefe, I am very appreciative of the house. It is very old and needs work, but I am always thankful for it. The worst part is California's property taxes. They have restrictions, so I don't know how people would survive if they didn't raise the every year, for they are already pretty high. I wish you luck in finding the best area there is. The bill isn't that unreasonable, it is for the whole year. I just couldn't budget well for it this year.
The Lord is good, they will be a way to get it paid. Blessings! 🌺
