Officially in the 250's now. I'm praying I won't be here long. I'm doing a little research on the Mediterranean diet to see if that might be a good fit for me. I .doubt I would go back to Keto. I would consider calorie-counting. Still no direction - I'm just bobbing along, floating on top of the water - but I don't feel like I'm drowning.

The Mediterranean diet is a good one, and a lot more sustainable for many people. You'll find a way that works for you 😊

you'll be good with Mediterranean.. I don't follow a specific diet but my diet has a lot of Mediterranean influence (where I'm from😊). lean meats and fish, healthy grains and veg. All good 😁

The diet sounds good to me. When I diet I head toward Keto, but I never made it there. I'm trying to limit high carbs but seldom get my carbs or protein low enough. Even so, it makes me wonder why you wouldn't do it again since that is what you had success with before. Do you now think that much fat is unhealthy? Some people find their cholesterol doesn't go up but it does seem a little scary. Was it just too strict? I see you have a new profile picture with a darling haircut. But you still have that wonderful smile.

@snowwhite, the main reason I was considering NOT going with Keto again is because of not being able to have healthy foods like fruit. BUT, then I realized I haven't been having fruit anyway - so I bought some grapes and navel oranges yesterday. Another reason I was considering the Mediterranean diet was because it allows you to have whole grains (which allows for my delicious Dave's Killer Good Seed Bread), though they emphasize Olive Oil, and I love my butter on the toast. Still just bouncing ideas around in my head.
