MrsTofu's Journal, 14 May 2014

I am recording this for accountability. I weighed twice in the past week, but after eating and the scale was around 148 one time and 147 another. I don't remember which was when, but I'm not surprised by this.

Honestly I am not sure if I am ready/ willing to change more on this front. Recently I've been having more mood maintenance issues. :-/ I'm trying to get that managed and then focus more specifically on the fitness arena. In the meantime because it works with both I am trying to be more active and spend time outdoors during the day so I can get my vitamin D fix.

Hi MrsTofu! First of all, congrats on being so close to your target weight! =) I am glad to hear that despite the mood issues, you are still trying to be more active! I hope whatever personal issues you are trying to work on will end positively.

i think fitness and mood are inter-related. When mood isn't working, its hard to get fitness focused. To be honest, while some say grinding through your fitness will improve your mood, that somehow always feels like an uphill battle for me. So I would, personally, focus on mood. Get to a better place and use that to fuel your future fitness focus.

I agree with Alex. Since I am in my last trimester whenever I am tired I eat more sweets or coffee with cream and sugar as a way to try to create some energy I don't have. Horrible mind trick. Only gets me by for a few hours but somedays at this point I don't care. Glad I am almost out of the woods. :)
