FitOKay's Journal, 14 May 2014

I'm weighing in very early today because we are going to be up and leaving for the St Louis Zoo in about 6 hours and I don't want to forget this. I have no truly reasonable explanation for why I'm down a pound at the end of the day then the beginning. Today was a *not as hungry* day- I still hit over a thousand calories. We'll see what Thursday's weigh in says. We are taking sandwiches and snacks with us. My husband has also been trying to loose a little weight and is down 6lbs =) We thought taking food along would make calorie watching easier then eating out there. So I've tentatively entered what I expect to eat for breakfast and lunch.

We had to go to StL anyways to finish fittings for my brother's wedding that I, my husband and one of our boys is in. So instead of wasting all that gas we decided yesterday to make a day of it at the Zoo. Been a little crazy last minute planner for this spastic plan a head chic. We normally go as a family once a year, but we plan it ahead of time and go with friends and family. So this year's trip is going to be a little different just being the four of us and last minute. Should be an experience =)

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!

Thanks everyone! We got there right as it opened at 9am (pretty good timing for 2hr+ drive). Got to do the stingrays, carousel and children's zoo that are free entry on the first hour. It started raining (and being in the 50s that made it pretty cold) around 11am as we left the children's zoo so we ate lunch inside. Still raining but we rode the zooline (covered) train befor going to our fittings hoping it would clear up. Rain got worse, so we ended up going back to the zoo and doing all the inside exhibits. So we didn't realling get to see any of the walk around outside exhibits, but it was still a lot of fun. I'm really glad we got up and went early so we had a couple hours while it was still nice.
