What a relief! I only lost half a pound last week, in great part due to our heatwave. I drank my same amount of water, ate the same amount of fiber (plus Citrucell every other day as per usual), but my body didn't get the message. Plus, I bought some new Bolthouse Farms protein drinks, so maybe that complicated matters.

In any event, just glad to be down a pound. And, this means I have reached the halfway point of my weight loss goal!

Still only exercising about every other day due to the ongoing exacerbation of my back issues.

Looking forward to my trip to CA in two weeks. Checking out now :-)
175.0 lb Lost so far: 15.0 lb.    Still to go: 15.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Thanks, Ruhu! For some reason, I suddenly had a lot of energy and very little pain today so I went for a brisk 1/2 walk! Felt great!

Progress is progress! Be careful of those Bolthouse Farms drinks. Very tasty, but lots of carbs. Remember, if you keep feeding yourself a lot of carbs each day, your body will stay in carb burning mode, not fat burning mode. Try to limit yourself to 100g of carbs per day as a max. Don't go lower than 60g though.

Checkout their salad dressings. BuffyBear put us onto the Blue Cheese Yogurt dressings. Yummy, low in calories and carbs.

pmjeff21, I am not on a low-carb diet and I drink them mainly as a treat with the bonus of them providing protein. ClassicRocker, I already use both the Bolthouse Farms Caesar Parmesagno and the Balsamic.
