Less worried by the increase than I am by my apparent will power, or lack there in, during this lead up to the holidays. I may need to plan to hold the line where I’m at through Dec and go all out come January.
I’m not sure why but am emotional strained and it’s showing in my giving into sweets the past couple weeks.
We’ll see how this week goes, so not quite ready to throw in the towel yet.
Have a great week all!

Get all the sweets out of your house. There are some better ways to have something sweet . Chobani has a good yogurt with fruit in the bottom for 110 calories….freeze grapes and eat them….frozen yogurt bars or fruit bars…

I was having the same problem and I do not know if my solution would work for you but I purposely increased my protein levels for a few days and it seemed to curb that urge to consume other foods.

If your wife/family enjoy the sweets around the holiday the best way for you to manage it is ask that they be kept in opaque containers whether on the countertop or in the fridge. Not having the visual can help contain the urge. Same goes for other foods they may eat and you choose not too. They should all be in opaque containers.... snacks in the pantry as well. Good Luck !

Thank you all for the great ideas. Not sure removing all sweets will be accepted, but changing the packaging might work. Will investigate 👍🏻😁
