Happy weekend! Only about 2.5 miles last night, stopped to talk with a neighbor who has a new puppy and basically had to start over with the walk. No biggie, all the steps add up at the end of the day. Not swimming this weekend, I've figured out that the cooler air makes the coughing worse, so walking or treadmill are the best options. I have a tendency to have exercise-induced asthma, so it took a while for my brain to kick in and figure out that I needed to not do that. Duh. Going to make a baked spaghetti squash casserole today. Nice and cool, good day to use the big oven. Gonna smell good. Blob up this morning, water down, which is interesting because I drank a ton yesterday, guess it didn't stay with me. Muscle down a little, no doubt because I didn't walk hard enough last night. Didn't hit my 10K steps either, couple hundred short. That happens. Trying to fit a lot in today, so will keep it brief. Nighttime fog. Keeps happening. Spooky when you're out in it and suddenly you can't see across the street. Thankfully, we are well lit for safety. Just noticing how dense the fog is to the west and it's clear to the east. That's virtually the same spot for both pics. Enjoy this wonderful Saturday! My hubby left at 3am today to go to Lake Castaic, supposedly closer than you, but I think it’s further!
I prayed that it wouldn’t be that thick fog, where you can’t see in front of yourself, I was so scared, because yesterday it was!!!!
Really, what’s going on with the fog????😮
But, the Lord was good, and it was clear this morning when he took off. Really, I was so scared, he wasn’t gonna stop if it was a fog so thick you had to follow a white line he would’ve gone anyway!😬
Come on, it’s fishing, nothing stops him!😖

Shrewd, on Amazon, nite-ize look for the “disco” one that changes colors. Batteries last about 30 hours. Get those at the same time. 2016. This is the newest version and way better than previous ones. Flat LED, you can tell look for the imprint on the front that looks kind of like a flower.

Your dogs make my day!!! The lights on their collars are a great idea!!! That tree looks pretty cool too! I also cough in cold air. I haven't been diagnosed with asthma but I think I am pre-asthmatic. Hope you have a productive and happy weekend Kat!

My hubby has had asthma bad his whole life, when he was hit with Covid I thought the worse, I was so worried. 😬 With lots of prayers from the FS family and friends, he made it out of the hospital pretty fast. Take care of yourself!💕

I’m glad you can all use them. They are really bright and I think they make walking at night safer. If you get one that’s a little wonky, open it up and play with it. Usually fixes it. If it acts funny and goes off after a few minutes, it’s the batteries. I’ve used these for years.
