It's much easier to try to change things progressively than abruptly :) Whatever you do, don't worry! You got this!

Start one a day. I love coke. I would drink three to six a day. I don't do that any more. I have substituted for other items like hummus. Now I have to stop eating that. It is a real journey...

Lohunter-can u tell me a good brand of hummus? I bought one awhile back and it was horrible. I had it in a restaurant once and it was awesome! I've heard it said that the brand menas everything. Thanks

Just like Lohunter, I used to throw down sodas like crazy. Sweet tea, too. Now it's water, black coffee, an occasional unsweet tea or sip of Sunny D. No sense in drinking the few calories we get each day, especially with the sugar and sodium content. Now you can decide if Red Bull is worth it in the future ;)

Hummus? Make it. 2 (15-oz) chickpeas, 1/2c tahini (roasted sesame paste), 3-4 cloves, minced, 5T lemon juice, 4T water, 2T olive oil, 2t cumin or curry, 1/2t salt. All in food processor or just mash together really well. Adjust seasonings + water as you like. You can make tons of it for litte $$! There you go, Dylansmom0110.

I am a recovering RedBulloholic. I modified the Bulletproof Coffee recipe and am surprised how much better it works than RB without any of the bad after effects. Also, my energy stays up for 5-6 hours, and I lose fat too. 14 oz fresh brewed Coffee 2 TBS un-sweetened non-Dutched dark chocolate baking powder 1TBS MCT oil 1 TBS butter 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg Stevia to your taste This drink will keep your motor running all day and curb any desire to binge eat.
