AlgaeGirl's Journal, 29 May 2009

I feel like things are moving slowly, but they are moving.

Everything you hear, read, see, says that in order for weight loss to "stick" and be healthy and permanent (permanent being relative here, I guess), you should lose between 1 and 2 pounds a week.

Also, I feel hungrier than before. I seem to be eating more. According to my food journals anyway. But I'm still losing. Wonder if it's the extra day of bike riding or the weights? (The weights are pretty light, but they could be making a difference. Isn't muscle supposed to make my BMR go up?)

Still feeling good...especially since I can see the sun again!
189.8 lb Lost so far: 38.2 lb.    Still to go: 59.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
