PinkRose88's Journal, 28 March 2014

Just hasn't been a very productive week. My food wasn't really out of control. But didn't make the best choices. With the exception of last night, I have TM and biked every day. Hooped about every other day and worked with my weights. I would think.....MAYBE......JUST MAYBE the scale gods would acknowledge that with a lose or a hold this week.......well, hell no......up 1. Stress and drama have played a HUGE roll in my life this week. The TM and stationary bike are great stress relievers and a great opportunity to have "thinkin' time". I think I have come to the conclusion I have to work out like crazy and barely eat in order to get off this plateau.......feeling discouraged. :(

I have been where you are now and sometimes I am still there. Many have suggested to me that I change up my routine alittle. Keep in mind that your water weight can play a big part as well. You are doing fantastic and I am proud of you. Stress can be a mother, but you seem to have it together and push through, which is a hard thing to do. Keep up the fantastic work and know that you are not alone in this journey.

Don't beat yourself up, just keep going. You'll see results, maybe not when you think you should but when your body has adjusted. Have a wonderful day and make it the best ever.

I'm sure you're also building muscle with all the exercise and your body's getting used to the changes. Keep it up - "It takes 4 weeks for you to see your body change, 8 weeks for your friends and family and 12 weeks for the rest of the world."

Aw, I'm sorry. I know you can do it. Stress makes it harder to lose imo. Just keep it up and keep chugging, some results are worth waiting it out for *hugs*

You have had QUITE the week! Yes, too much stress and too much drama! But, you have met the challenge before and you CAN break through this plateau! Keep at it and conquer it all! Hugs!

Maybe you just need to have one good ole spike day of say 2000 calories, and then go back to your 1500 calories a day. Sometimes fooling the metabolism into thinking a lot more food is coming down the chute can be just enough to turn things around. After all, that's only 500 calories above your RDI, and the worse that could happen is a 1/7 of a pound gain. IMHO.

Try to eat 1 portion brown rice, 1portion porridge, 3oz chillies. 1 teaspoon very hot mustard (the kind that is in indian food) every day. The rice and porridge help rid the body of bad fat. the chillies and mustard boost your metabolic rate. try it for two weeks. let me know if it works for you. I have started losing again and would like know if this works for anyone else.
