Good morning!

So the Fat Loss Evil Demons decided to have me gain a kilo today. Sure, why not?

I did good, though. I was at an 1100 calorie deficit yesterday, with all macros requirements met, so I'm not sure what that's all about?

Maybe it's the ridiculous amount of meat I had for dinner? I don't know.

It doesn't really matter, though. I know that I did good. Everything is under control, and it's just a matter of moving forward. Which I am.

...

Yesterday was great.

I woke up late, slept a few extra hours on purpose, and when I got up, I decided to go work out at the other gym, about 80 minutes bus ride away. I only had a few minutes to get going, so it was all kinda rushed.

I made it on time, though, and I had a great workout there, talked to the owner, talked to some of the people there and got to do a little advertising for my new company and hopefully got to spread the word about my classes a little bit.

While working out, a text came in from Wife. "Mind if I take you out for dinner tonight?". Why, no, of course I don't. As long as I know where we're going so I can prepare. Fortunately this was still in the morning and I hadn't had any food, so I could easily adjust my plans and make it all work out.

As I said, all weightloss/calorie/macro criteria were met at the end of the day.

Dinner ended up being a ridiculous amount of VERY deliscious BBQ ribs, and one tiny potato. Meat, meat, meat.

Have I mentioned that I LOVE eating like this? :)

...

Things are REALLY clearing up in regards to my leaving my old job.

The details on everything are cranked out, and I will go sign papers today. I have some nice pay checks coming the next coming months.

This month (payout Monday, the March payout) will be a regular one. Then, end of April will see an almost double pay because of vacation compensation being paid out. Since I have been on long term sick leave, I haven't been able to take my vacation time, and this is paid out. I have 4-5 weeks sitting there waiting, to be paid out.

Then the May payout will be a normal one, and the June one - the final one - will also see the compensation for tort. This will be somewhere between double and triple pay. Not bad.

The very best thing is that I can no FINALLY start teaching, and FINALLY start working on my own thing. I can do what I want.

...

Today, I will go talk to the gym owner again. We're prepping an "open house" thing at the new gym - the one further away. I want to be in on the advertising there, hoping to get some clients to join so I can start up my weight loss classes there.

I will also call a lot of people from my waiting list for the local classes. I want to get everything started up ASAP. It's been idle for WAY too long.

Today is GO!

...

I will probably spend a little of the day building a small, temporary website. I have asked Daughter (since she is a graphics/web designer) to do a proper one, but I also know she's a busy lady. I will make a temporary one, just for the time being.

Also, I'm gonna talk to a good friend who has a printing business about getting some t-shirts printed with my website and slogan. I'm gonna be my own poster 24/7. I don't think there is a much better way to advertise.

I've been thinking long and hard about slogans, and I really like the one I have come up with.

"When is it gonna be the last time that you're gonna lose weight?".

I'm hoping it will make people think. I'm hoping that it will make people realize that by going with me and my system, they will be equipped to make it the final weight loss journey.

What do you think?

...

So, today I have plenty to do.

...

Today, I'm thankful for:
- A good night's sleep, though I'm up early with Wife. I don't want to get into the habit of sleeping later than her. I like our mornings, it's when we get to see more of each other these days.
- Coffee!
- Freedom! I can finally start up my business!

Have a great Thursday! Life is good!

I think its a great 'call to action' slogan however I have one constructive criticism if I may. Ive been in sales, sales management and marketing all my adult life and there are two schools of thought regarding bad grammar usage in slogan as it might apply to your double use of the word 'gonna' instead of going to. If your target market is young go for it - most of them these days speak poorly grammatically anyway, and you would seem 'hip', but if the market is older they won't like it. Personally while I like the thrust of the message, the use of that grammar would turn me away. but maybe thats just me 58 years old, and possible others here don't agree, its certainly a very good idea to market test it because the last thing you want is to spend money on promoting a slogan that has a negative impact for a new business. Of course if you are not doing this in English it may translate better, that I wouldn't know. Hope you don't mind me giving my opinion and I certainly wouldn't have done if you hadn't asked.

Thinking of what Stephen said- maybe, "When will it be your last time losing weight?" Or "When is it going to be the last time you lose weight?" Or even "Let's make This Time your Last Time losing weight!" Just tossing out ideas.

but ... is the message true? Is it really the last time losing weight? It seems to me you are never "done" even when you are as "done" as KK. maybe the message should hint more to the fact it is the last time you start a new direction in life. Or the last time you tried. like: "stop trying, DO IT." "stop the silly diets, start your new life, NOW!" "Loose weight, or loose life." i don't know, just blabbering... I had a t-shirt with my favorite quote made, but that quote is "Goodkind's" you cannot use that. But if i wear it at the gym people do ask about it... "Your life is yours alone, rise up and live it"

Well, the slogan will be in Danish - it's a rough translation. I am taking notes, though, and I really appreciate your thoughts. Steve - I am SUPER keen on grammar and spelling. I get turned off by those things too. And yes - maybe switching words can make it pop even more!

I immediately liked the slogan, because it clearly rang true for me after having my weight yo-yo up and down for so many times. I'm hoping this is the last time for me to lose weight:-)

My contribution, from my experience as a media sales and management trainer. Slogans should be short and snappy... Think about newspaper or magazine headlines, they usually have a maximum of 4 words. Or some of the successful advertising slogans 'Beanz means Heinz' (that's one of the most successful UK slogans of all times). 'Fight the flab' was another one. I am sure you can think of some Danish ones to... If not, google successful slogans. So something like 'loose weight forever' ... (Not sure if that would be 100% true for some people). 'Zap that fat',

Cool Slogan - maybe it's the difference in inflection between countries but how about 'Are you ready to lose that weight one more time?' and then put a slash thru 'more' and write in LAST.

A weight loss adventure. Weight loss saves your soul. Serious about weight loss? Weight loss you can see. Love life, love weight loss. Loose weight, change your life. Forever weight loss. Where weight loss forever, is a pleasure. Simply weight loss. Some of them are a bit 'wordy'. Some of the tricks to creating a good slogan are one or more of the following:- Ask a question. Eg want to loose weight? Create something that rhymes. Promise a benefit to the reader. Provoke curiosity ( can be a dodgy one if not done properly ) Mention something the viewer wants to aspire to. Sorry.. I have just gone into trainer mode.... Lol

You're keeping it local so you don't need to worry so much about people finding you using Google, Yahoo, AOL, Bing but I found that setting up a pertinent web site (web address) that contains the basic search terms is the best way to go. I did this for my own business and I'm found quite easily on the internet if you are looking for the products I sell and make. I won't post it here because I don't believe it's a forum for that but I purchased web addresses that contained the keywords. I'd link the name of your town with the basis of what people might be looking for so they would search "town" weight loss, diet, etc and get your listing at the top. If you are lower than the first 10 you'll get lost quickly. Just a thought. I presently own 6 web addresses (with basic names) that all link back to my main site and I do see plenty of traffic and people can find me. Avoid the fancy names that contain absolutely nothing to do with the reality of what you are selling. For example..in the security business if you put "DOG" as in guard dog or bull dog or whatever in the name...you have a lot of people looking for pet supplies...not many for security systems.

Lots to ponder on in these comments. And some good ideas are forming. :)
